The Alexander Stadium is an international-standard athletics venue located in the heart of the country that hosts major events, such as the Diamond League series and British Championships. It is also home to the world-famous Birchfield Harriers Athletics Club, and for Birmingham 2022 will be modernised with a post-Games permanent capacity of 20,000 – up from the current 12,700.
