The Brum Breathes fund is open to applications from constituted community organisations in Birmingham with a UK bank account registered in its name and if your application is successful the funds will be transferred to this bank account.

Before you start to complete the form, make sure you have a scan or photo of the following documents as these will need to be uploaded as part of the application:

  • Constitution document
  • Quotation(s) from suppliers for goods or services
  • Ward Forum minutes

If applicable, you may need to also submit:

  • proof of external funding (if you have secured additional grant / match funding)
  • permission from relevant Birmingham City Council Dept (for instance, if you are installing an asset/item on the highway or in a park or council owned property)

If you login to your BRUM Account before you start, you will be able to save your progress as you go along and return to the form later; if not, you will have to complete the form in one go. There is a 20 minute time-out on every page of the form. We do not recommend starting the form without being logged in to your BRUM Account.
