About the planning committee
The planning committee is responsible for larger and more sensitive planning applications. This is around 10% of all applications we receive.
It allows planning applications to be discussed and for those who may be affected to comment.
When the committee meet
The planning committee meets in rooms 3 and 4 at Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B3 3AA, at 11am.
There will be no planning committee meetings in May 2026, but future meeting dates will be:

- 1 October 2026
- 29 October 2026
- 26 November 2026
- 17 December 2026
- 21 January 2027
- 18 February 2027
