Lessons Learnt: What we could have done better

  • Communication timelines, often at short notice, resource was short
  • Communication clarity, during the initial stages of the project advice from Legal was not consistent.
  • TUPE process needed mapping at an earlier stage.
  • Indemnities, legal struggled to manage the volumes
  • Pensions, Position on ABS and LGPS confusing and not clear
  • ELI, data cleanse should have happened at onset of process
  • Contact details not initially up to date for communication
  • Key stakeholders not easily identifiable
