7. REMINDER Skills for Care - The Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) Workshops November 2025 (Information for all Providers)
The ASC-WDS is a free online data collection service that captures information about the adult social care workforce in England. The data is used by key decision-makers, including the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), to plan, fund, and monitor the sector. By creating an ASC-WDS account, providers can access funding opportunities and contribute to shaping the future of adult social care.

8. REMINDER Clouds End – Free Multi Agency Hoarding Awareness Training 19 November 2025 (Information for all Providers)
Free online training for staff on hoarding is available. The full day sessions (10.00am to 4.00pm) cover understanding hoarding and an overview of the C20 project (module 1), supportive engagement techniques (module 2) and supportive interventions for successful multi agency working (module 3). Training days are on:

9. Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB) – Conference – Responding and Reporting Concerns 20 November 2025 (Information for all Birmingham Providers)
There are limited places available for a free face-to-face BSAB Conference about Responding to and Reporting a Concern taking place on 20 November 2025 at the Council House, Birmingham between 9:00am and 4:15pm.
This conference is a key opportunity to:
- Communicate the revised ‘Responding to and Reporting a Concern’ process
- Identify and reroute misdirected safeguarding concerns
- Strengthening partnership collaboration and understanding
- Practice applying the new pathway through interactive workshops

10. Birmingham and Solihull Nurses and Clinical Leads Network for Nurses Working in Social Care 25 November 2025 (Information for Birmingham and Solihull Nurses)
The Birmingham and Solihull Nurses and Clinical Leads Network for Nurses working in social care met on 16 September 2025 and had a very informative meeting. There were many interesting presentations delivered at the meeting including an update on Infection Prevention ~ winter planning, Swallowing Matters, Falls toolkit and Falls prevention. The recording is available below:
The network is a unique platform that brings together nurses working in social care across Birmingham and Solihull, providing a valuable opportunity for nurses to connect, share ideas and knowledge, and receive support and guidance from peers. In addition to providing a space for peer-to-peer support and best practice sharing, our forum offers both national and regional updates, ensuring nurses stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
The network also provides a platform for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), helping network members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and expertise, and take their careers to the next level.
The next meeting is on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 2:00 – 4:45pm.
