Update for schools: 10 March 2021

This update includes a request for information about schools' take-up of the National Tutoring Programme as well as a survey to share with young people to help improve mental health services.

National Tutoring Programme: Short survey for response by 11am 11 March

The government’s National Tutoring Programme was set up to provide additional support to schools to help disadvantaged pupils whose education has been most affected by school closures. Schools are able to access tuition partners and academic mentors, funded from the government’s catch-up package.

We would be very grateful if schools could complete this short survey by 12noon on 11th March about your school’s awareness of the programme and whether you have signed up for support. Your responses and feedback will support our discussions with the Department for Education who have asked us for information about this.
