Shelforce shortlisted for the Asian Business Chamber Awards

Councillor Shabrana Hussain, Cabinet Member for Homes and Neighbourhoods, congratulates Shelforce on being shortlisted for the Asian Business Chamber Awards

I am delighted to add my congratulations to Shelforce for being short listed as finalists for the prestigious Asian Business Chamber Awards 2021 in the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion’ category

As the largest local authority providing social housing in the country we get to work with many very good contractors including window and door manufacturing business unit Shelforce.

Shelforce specialise in providing high quality PVCu and aluminium products and have built good relationships with our other contractors including Wates, Engie and Fortem. More details of their work can be found on the Shelforce website.

The Shelforce team's dedication to continuous improvement is testament to the passion, commitment and teamwork that thrives in their Erdington factory where they employ and train people with disabilities from all backgrounds who have multiple roles within the manufacturing process and are an integral part of their continued success.

I would particularly like to highlight the role that the Business Manager Howard Trotter and his whole team of 30 staff have played in getting short listed and wish them luck at the ceremony on 18 November.
