Economy, Skills & Sustainability O&S Committee - Friday 10 July, 10am, Committee Rooms 3&4, Council House

The Committee will focus on events happening in the city in September including the opening of New Street Station and Grand Central. Members will hear from City Council officers about measures to manage additional numbers of visitors to the city. Representatives from Virgin Trains will also be at the meeting to talk about the West Coast Main Line Franchise and ask for feedback from Members on areas of improvement.

Corporate Resources O&S Committee - Tuesday 14 July, 2pm, Council House

Members will receive a report on Member Development, including an update on the Member Development Programme. The Committee will also be briefed by the Service Director, Customer Services on customer satisfaction and the complaints process.

Education and Vulnerable Children - Wednesday 15 July, 2pm, Council House

The Committee will consider issues relating to looked after children. Members will also discuss the process for adoption and fostering placements and the Council’s role as a corporate parent.

Health and Social Care O&S Committee - Tuesday 21 July, 1pm, Council House

Solihull Joint Health Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 21 July, 5.30pm, Council House

The Heart of England Foundation Trust will present the outcomes from their recent Care Quality Commission Inspection. Members will also hear about the consultation on Non-Emergency Patient Transport covering Birmingham, Sandwell and Solihull.
