Offence details

Both the Company and Director pleaded guilty to 29 offences relating to conditions found at Harbinger, 66 Bromsgrove Street, Birmingham B5 6NU on four separate visits. The premises were dirty and poorly maintained, there was no designated wash hand basin in the kitchen and food handlers working in the kitchen were wearing outdoor clothing. Chopping boards were worn and badly damaged and equipment was dirty including knives, freezers, fat fryers and the grill. The ice machine producing and storing ice cubes was extensively mouldy inside and food was stored at incorrect temperatures. Mouse activity and cockroaches were found throughout the premises.
