Offence details
Seven offences relating to conditions at Coffee Time, Central Square Kiosk, Priory Square, Birmingham on two separate occasions. The Company failed to comply with three Hygiene Improvement Notices requiring up to date and accurate information to be available for all foods and drink with regards to the 14 prescribed allergens, a wash hand basin in the kitchen for cleaning hands to be provided with hot and cold running water, materials for cleaning hands and for hygienic drying to be provided and a permanenet procedure based on HACCP principles to be implemented. Foods were labelled, advertised or presented in a manner that was misleading including the term ‘butter’ when the product was made from ‘64% fat spread with buttermilk’. Foods which were pre-packed for direct sale were non-compliant with labelling requirements.
