19 offences over four separate dates relating to conditions found at Giro Food Ltd, Welcome House, Glover Stree, Birmingham. The standard of cleaning was poor in the spice packing facility, the premises was structurally poor, there was no sink for cleaning utensils, equipment was dirty and in a poor condition and there was a risk of cross contamination of allergens. There were rat droppings, a damaged ceiling and water damaged chickpeas in the spice packing facility. Mouldy food was found past its use by date in the walk-in chiller. Mouse droppings were found throughout the general warehousing and rat droppings in a number of locations. There was a gnawed bag of flour and food spillages, there were a number of leaks causing water pooling on the floor or in buckets and large accumulations of waste in the yard.
