Car Parks run by Birmingham City Council

The Google map below shows the locations of council car parks in Birmingham.
Council car parks are open 24 hours unless otherwise mentioned on the notice boards next to the machines or in the attachment at the bottom of this page.

The council's car parks are open for use at all times except where otherwise indicated on the notice boards. Payment must be made for parking at all times during the charging hours, even when the car park is closed.

Motorists should consult the board next to the payment machines for details of the exact prices and charging hours as these vary between car parks (and may be altered). At pay on foot car parks the charges are provided at the car park entrance and by the pay station.

The charges are usually revised each year. A list of the current charges is attached below.

Motorists are advised to carry a supply of (10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2) coins in order to make payment. On arrival at a Pay & Display car park a ticket must be purchased from a machine and displayed in the front windscreen of the vehicle.

Park and Pay by Phone is available at most city centre car parks and enables payment for parking using debit & credit cards.
