Scam Alert - Bogus Emails (Malware, Scams & Phishing)

Schools and settings are advised to be aware of a fake/bogus email purporting to be from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) informing them of an upcoming HSE Covid-19 spot check. The bogus email includes a link to download "The Guidance" ahead of an upcoming COVID-19 spot check. If you receive such an email do not open any attachments or links

The HSE made the following comment on its website:

"HSE is aware businesses may have received a bogus email from Mark J. Burrows claiming to be from HSE. We are investigating the source of these emails and the content should be ignored. Please don’t open any attached files or follow any links. There is no need to contact HSE."
