Improving bus travel in Harborne
From week commencing Monday 8 October work is scheduled to begin on the installation of trial bus lanes along Harborne Road towards the city centre, between Kingscote Road and Highfield Road. These works are expected to last for approximately four weeks. Disruption will be kept to a minimum with two lanes running for the majority of the work programme. There will be some short durations where temporary traffic signals and single lane closures may be required. Once work is complete the new bus lanes will be introduced as a trial for a minimum of 12 months. Some additional double yellow line parking restrictions will be included in the scheme.
