Pre-paid sacks for commercial waste
About our pre-paid sack service
This is a weekly collection of lightweight, compactable general waste that can go to our energy recovery plant to be turned into electricity.
The sacks we provide are clear, with our logo on them. They can take 90 litres of waste.
You will be provided with sacks that are collected weekly for one year. If you run out of sacks, you can order more.
If you do not use up all your sacks within the year, you cannot carry them forward to the next year. You will have to place a new order for collections to continue.
Who should use this service
This service is for small businesses who create a small amount of waste, for example:
- nail bars
- hairdressers
- jewellery shops
- estate agents
Who should not use this service
This service is not for:
- businesses that generate large amounts of waste
- businesses that have heavy or high-density waste, such as food waste
- supermarkets, corner shops and so on
- brick, rubble or building waste
- any type of garden waste

- 100 sacks - £240.50
- 200 sacks - £478
- 400 sacks - £948
- 800 sacks - £1,880
How to use the service
Once you have signed up, we will email you further details about your collection.
The sacks you order will be delivered in a bundle by courier.
Put sacks out at the front of your business on your weekly collection day. You can put out as many sacks as needed for each collection.
We will send you a duty of care controlled waste transfer note, which shows you are complying with the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
