£20.22 ticket offer for Gymnastics World Cup at Arena Birmingham

Birmingham City Council and British Gymnastics are celebrating the 2022 Commonwealth Games coming to Birmingham with a special ticket offer for subscribers to the council’s Birmingham Bulletin.

The offer is for this month’s Gymnastics World Cup at Arena Birmingham, and sees a limited number of tickets priced at £20.22 available for the men’s event on Wednesday 21 March  where Great Britain will take on the best gymnastics nations and gymnasts in the world.

Local gymnast Dominic Cunningham from the City of Birmingham Club and James Hall will be flying the flag for the host nation in the men’s competition against top gymnasts from Brazil, China, Japan, Germany, Holland, USA, Russia and Ukraine in the all-around event, which includes the floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar. The women’s event takes place the following evening.

Arena Birmingham will also be the venue for the gymnastics competition when the city hosts the Games in just over four years’ time.

Councillor Ian Ward, Leader of Birmingham City Council, said: “This will be a fantastic event for the city as we continue the countdown to the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Many of the world's top gymnasts are coming to Birmingham and this is a great opportunity for people to get a taste of what it will be like in four years' time. Hopefully lots of subscribers to our Birmingham Bulletin will be able to come a long as a result of this offer.”

The £20.22* ticket offer applies on Wednesday 21 March to gold, silver and bronze tickets for the men’s event.
