If your homeless application has been refused, you can apply for a decision review using this form. Birmingham City Council operates a one-stage review process. A panel of officers, independant from the one that made the original decision, will hear your review. The outcome of the review will be notified in writing to you. You will be given another opportunity to provide any new information about your circumstances, before the final decision is made.
A review can only be requested within 21 calendar days of the date of the homeless decision letter.
We shall carry out the review within 8 weeks of your request.
