Birmingham Virtual School partner with Egov solutions, who provide the UK's largest Virtual School online platform for tracking progress, monitoring attendance and overseeing the allocation of Pupil Premium plus funding.;

We use their ePEP tool to complete the mandatory personal education plan for a child in care, and to collect weekly attendance data on all children in care as their corporate parent.

The secure platform:

  • enables young people and their families to share their views about their education
  • tracks attendance, exclusions, attainment and progress in line with national age-related expected achievements
  • enables local authorities such as Birmingham;to work in partnership with schools and education providers ;to write a termly action plan for with the young person and their family that will lead to positive change and outcomes at school.

Other key areas include live pages for our young people to record their thoughts, questions and achievements and pupil premium expenditure.
