Blue Whale training

As part of our Raising Aspirations programme (RAP) The Birmingham Virtual School is pleased to be working with Blue Whale.

Founded in 2001, Blue Whale has developed a successful history of designing and delivering innovative programmes to address the learning and personal needs of young people with different abilities and cultural origins.

Their philosophy is to create an environment where young people are able to flourish and confidently gain skills in order to progress and enhance their lives.

Blue Whale continually develop their facilities, skillset and programmes to ensure the learning environment is highly interactive, engaging and fun.

This builds a more relevant learning experience that connects to the young people they work with, enabling them to explore their personal interests and links to the outside community.

BVS have worked with Blue Whale to create a stimulating environment where young people are active co-creators of their own learning, accessing the latest cutting edge technology.

Our youngsters have benefitted hugely from the opportunity to learn more about a subject they are interested in and also work towards nationally recognised accreditations, such as Entry, Level 1 and Level 2 programmes in Music Technology, Occupational Studies, Creative Craft and Entrepreneurship.

We also offer a Customer Service qualification in conjunction with Welcome Host.

This gives a sense of pride and ownership to our students, equipping them with the mind-set to strive towards achieving their dreams and aspirations.
