Careers events

Birmingham Virtual School is proud to partner with Birmingham Careers Service, to ensure all our children have access to high quality careers advice and guidance. in addition to what their own schools and colleges provide.

Each term we offer an inspirational career event that brings together local and national businesses along with public sector representatives who deliver bespoke workshops and information sessions for our looked after young people based on the feedback they give us about their future aspirations in their pep meetings.

Due to COVID-19 these events were put on hold and we are looking at ways of providing continuing careers information, advice and guidance through online and socially distanced events during 2020-2021.

Careers Toolbox

We are currently working on the 'Careers Toolbox', which we plan to have available during Autumn 2020.

This will give direct access to some great resources from our partners at the Careers Service and others, to support young people to think about, and apply for, the next steps in their learning.

Please do check back here for updates.
