Bins, rubbish and recycling

Household waste and recycling collections are being carried out as scheduled as far as possible. To minimise crew contact with residents your collections may take place earlier in the morning than usual - therefore make sure your bins are ready for collection from 5.00am on your collection day, or no earlier than 3:30pm the day before.

We apologise for any missed collections - the position is being closely monitored and reviewed daily.

Garden Waste sales are now closed for 2020 collections.

Garden waste is collected fortnightly.
Final collections will take place between 23 November and 4 December 2020.

Please be respectful of your neighbours and a need for clean air by not burning rubbish in your garden.

Anyone who has had COVID-19 or has displayed symptoms should follow government guidance to tie and double-bag their waste - and wait 72-hours before disposing of it in their household bin.

Household recycling centres

All five Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) are open for bookings.
