Coronavirus (COVID-19):

Coronavirus remains a serious health risk. It’s important to stay cautious and help protect yourself and others. Please continue to follow national government advice.

Emergency community response hub

Due to the Covid situation, if you have an emergency requirement regarding accessing food and have no assistance from family or friends, and need urgent support please contact Emergency Duty Team on 0121 675 4806.

We have set up a hub to support Birmingham’s most vulnerable people, and help them cope with the impacts of the coronavirus outbreak.

We want to help you if you are:

  • over the age of 70, are self isolating and have no support network,
  • if you have received a letter from the NHS advising you are high risk, or
  • you are medically vulnerable according to the government criteria.

We can help with things like:

  • Support to access food
  • Combating loneliness
  • Information on financial support
