MiFriendly Cities

This EU funded project was delivered across Birmingham, Coventry, and Wolverhampton.

The three councils and eight other voluntary and private sector partners work together to help understand what it takes to create “Migrant Friendly Cities” by exploring innovative ways and activities to aid integration.

The project included a range of activities focusing on employability, English language learning (Share My Language), health champions, social enterprise, and innovation.

In Birmingham, there was a focus on active citizenship, employment pathways, and social enterprise.

As a city, we benefited further from the project’s opportunities on offer across the region.
