Libraries reopening

In line with the government’s announcement on 14 June 2021,the next stage of reopening libraries has been delayed until 19 July 2021. Some of our libraries are now open for book browsing and computer access. Details of the stages of reopening will be updated on these web pages.

The following libraries remain closed Aston Library, Bartley Green, Castle Vale, Kingstanding and Selly Oak Touchbase.

Mobile library

The Mobile Library is back on the road bringing books to you.

To make sure that customers and staff remain safe, we are offering an Order and Collect service only, from outside the vehicle.

Library services at home

Library Services at Home is now open. To make sure that customers and staff remain safe, we are delivering a contactless doorstep delivery service to our customers. Read more about our home service.
