Why work abroad?

People work abroad for a variety of reasons.

For some it is a necessity, if they cannot find work at home or they want to improve their standard of living. For others it can be a personal choice, to enhance their career or to experience a different culture.

Whatever your reason for wanting to work abroad, there are many considerations and decisions to make before you go ahead:

• How long for?
• What do you want to do?
• Will it benefit you in the long term?
• Do you have family commitments, and how will your plans affect them?
