Housing supply and demand
Please see the maps below to view the availability of properties through the housing register in different parts of the city.
This map gives an indication based upon past availability. Dark red means that is very unlikely that a property of that size will be available in the area. Light red means that it is more likely that something will be available although there may still be a significant wait depending upon the assessment of your housing need. If your housing need is low you may find you are still unable to secure accommodation in these areas.
How many bedrooms am I entitled to?
You are entitled to one bedroom for each single person or couple over 21.
Two people over 10 and under 21 are expected to share a room if they are the same sex.
Two people under 10 are expected to share a room regardless of their sex.
In exceptional circumstances an extra bedroom may be agreed. For more information please see the Allocations Scheme.
