Commenting on the scheme

The scheme has been introduced as a trial for a minimum of 12 months, using experimental traffic regulation order powers, allowing the public to formally submit comments at any time during the first six months of the trial - up to 4 April 2019. The experimental order also allows us to make changes to the scheme in the first 12 months, in response to any comments received. You will be notified if any modifications to the scheme are made.

Once the trial is finished, we will review comments received and assess the effects on bus and general traffic journey times as well as the impact on the local area before making a final decision on the scheme. If you wish to make comments on the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order please write to the address below, referencing ‘Harborne Road bus lane’:
