What is co-production

The Special Educational Needs reforms required each Local Authority to demonstrate how they co-produced and reviewed their Local Offer website and co-produced the EHC process.

Co-production is collaboration between young people, parents, carers, the local authority, NHS and other professionals.

The concept of co-production means that all parties need to be involved in the planning, design and delivery throughout the process.

All parties aim to think of creative ways to shape services for children and young people.

On these pages we share feedback from our co-production family conferences and other activities.

The Special Educational Needs reforms required each Local Authority to demonstrate how they co-produced and reviewed their Local Offer.

Young People have produced media to promote the Local Offer.

Your feedback is important to us, if you have other ideas to help improve our services, please let us know using our 'Your views' form.
