Overview

Funding Round 16 is now open, so submit your completed application form before the closing date of Wednesday 11 October 2017.

The HS2 Supply Chain Programme is a component of the £33m Business Growth Programme, which is a comprehensive business support package part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). As lead partner, Birmingham City Council and 3 Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) are working together to deliver this important initiative, which covers the Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, and The Marches LEP areas.

HS2 Supply Chain Programme (HS2SCP): Offers grant support of £20,000 to approximately £167,000 towards project costs for supply chain companies preparing their business to take advantage of future HS2 business opportunities.

It is estimated that 60% of HS2 procurement opportunities will be available to Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), so a HS2SCP grant funded project could be used to help prepare your business and increase your chances of success.

You do not have to have secured a HS2 Contract to be considered for HS2SCP grant funding, but applicants must be existing B2B supply chain SMEs looking to expand their business with projects which will improve their capability/capacity, thereby enabling them to pitch for HS2 opportunities.

Note 1: The use of consultants or third parties in completing the application form is an ineligible cost.
