Address problems

Your system tells me that my address isn't in Birmingham, when it is!

This is a known issue in our system and we can fix this for you quickly. Please provide us with some details, including the full address and postcode that our system didn’t recognise, what you were attempting to do at the time, the date and time you got the error message.

My address in the online account is wrong

You can change your address by logging in to your account and then choosing My Details from the options down the left hand side of the screen. Now choose the Change address link.

Even if other council departments know your address already (for example, if you are a council tenant) you will still need to update your address within your online account when it changes.

My email address in the online account is wrong

You can change your login email address from within your online account.

Log in to your account and choose Change Email or Password from the options on the left hand side of the screen. You will then be sent an activation link and temporary password to your new email address in order to confirm that it has worked correctly.
