Register for a BRUM account
A BRUM account will help you:
- access personalised information
- request council services
- change and complete saved forms – you cannot do this without a BRUM account
- track your requests – using your BRUM account, you can see:
- their reference numbers
- the date and time you submitted them
- their status
- when they were last last updated
- find local services and facilities, such as:
- libraries
- parks
- schools
- warm welcome spaces
You need a BRUM account to access some council services.
Services that require a BRUM account
You need a BRUM account to access:
- Benefits Online
- Business Rates Online
- Council Tax Online
- Housing Rents Online
- some waste and recycling services
For some services you will also need to:
- verify who you are
- allow your BRUM account details to be shared with other council systems
How to register for a BRUM account
- Follow the link to the registration page: register for a BRUM account.
- Enter your email address – you cannot register with an email address that is already being used for another BRUM account.
- You will receive an email with a link to the registration form
- Fill in the form with your:
- first name
- surname
- address
- email address that you want to use for your BRUM account
- Create a password. Your password must contain at least one:
- capital letter
- lower case character
- number
- symbol
If your password is not in the correct format, it will not be accepted.
