Walk A-Ward in Birmingham

This summer, we challenge you to come up with an idea for a local walk in your area of up to one hour (around 1 to 3 miles). Everyone who sends in a walk will be entered into a prize draw for shopping vouchers and goodie bags.

Please include as many of the following as you can:

  • BLUE – a water feature: lake, mill-pond, river, stream, canal, reservoir, etc.
  • GREEN – a green space: park, common, woodland, nature centre, village green, etc.
  • BROWN – a heritage feature: historic building/site, attraction, public statue/art, etc.
  • Other useful information, such as public toilets, railway stations, bus stops, car parking, and any places available for refreshments (e.g. cafés, pubs) can also be included.

Walks can be in a loop or go from one place to another – with public transport at the start and finish where possible.

Please send maps and details of your walk(s) to us by Friday 1 September 2017.
