What we want to achieve

Through our ambitious Youth Promise Plus project we aim to support 16,610 young people aged between 15 to 29 in Birmingham & Solihull who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

The project will support participants towards education, employment or training through tailored mentoring and specialist coaching and pathway training.

The project can support young people to secure jobs in local businesses and key sectors by:

  • Personal holistic support tailored to a young persons’ needs
  • “Work First” approach. This project seeks to bring opportunity for employment experience much earlier on to support confidence and experience
  • Dedicated support to employers to ensure the creation of work environments that meet young peoples’ needs and are positive for the businesses themselves
