WD || What to do if a parent contacts you with an Early Years Pupil Premium code

As a childcare provider, parents may contact you with a code that gives their child access to additional Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) funding. If this happens you need to check the code is valid.

Check an EYPP code is valid

You should check the code is valid when the child starts, and then each September, to make sure the child is still eligible for the additional funding support.

If a child is looked after by their local authority (a Looked After Child) or the child has left care through special guardianship or an adoption or residence order in England and Wales (a Previous Looked After Child) then you should continue to check their eligibility and follow the instructions on Eymis.

For more information about EYPP, log on to EYMIS (Early Year Management Information System).
