Submitting a bid

When you submit a bid and are successfully shortlisted you will be invited to view the property.

We will contact you to arrange a viewing appointment.

On the day of the viewing you must bring with you the following proof:

  • ID for all household members
  • income (payslips, benefit letters, bank statements)
  • child benefit
  • immigration status
  • EU settled status

After you have accepted the property you will be invited to attend an online pre-tenancy workshop. This will cover:

  • general information about the property
  • the standard of the property
  • the letting process
  • fire safety information
  • how to pay your rent
  • Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and Council Tax information
  • information on utilities

The tenancy start date will be the following Monday after letting.

During the first 12 weeks of your tenancy a Letting Officer will provide you with housing advice to help you settle in.
