Help us to redesign day opportunities provision in Birmingham
Birmingham City Council is redesigning the day opportunity provision for adults in Birmingham and wants your input.
We have created a Day Opportunities Vision and Strategy for the city which we hope stimulates innovation across the service and delivers better outcomes for those who use the services.
We can't do this alone and are keen to ensure we learn from the expertise that exists within the sector by adopting a co-production approach in order to design the new Day Services Strategy for the future.
The first stakeholder event took place with service providers on 5 December 2017 and was the start of dialogue with key stakeholders with approximately 80 people in attendance at the Council House.

Stakeholder engagement groups are taking place with service users, carers and service providers throughout January, February and March. If you are a Service User or a Carer your Service Provider will have details of when these groups are taking place.
If having spoken to your Service Provider you are unable to attend one of these groups full details including how to give Birmingham City Council your views are contained in the Service Users Pack and Carers Pack.
