If you have reported a highways issue and need more information about your report, complete our Highways general enquiry form and include your reference number.

Responsibility for our roads

We maintain most of Birmingham's roads, pavements, cycle routes, bridges, tunnels, street lighting, highway trees and drainage systems.

We are not responsible for:

• private roads, which are maintained by the landowner or residents
• motorways, which are maintained by National Highways
