What is Modeshift STARS?
Modeshift STARS is a national scheme to support organisations with producing and delivering effective Travel Plans and to recognise excellence in this area of work. A Travel Plan is a package of measures that aims to reduce car use and promotes walking, cycling and public transport.
Through the Modeshift STARS scheme you will receive support and guidance in order to achieve nationally recognised accreditation. Your Travel Plan will help your workplace to reduce carbon emissions and enable you to achieve your green objectives.
Modeshift STARS is accessed through a free online portal that enables you to:
- Audit your site
- Carry out a staff travel survey
- Create a bespoke package of initiatives for your site
- Monitor and evaluate your Travel Plan
- Gain accreditation
Modeshift STARS is completely flexible for organisations and is focused on what you can achieve by developing relevant travel solutions that are fit for purpose.
