Contact Temporary Accommodation Team

You are responsible for the accommodation charges for your temporary accommodation.  If you are on a low income you may be entitled to housing benefit payments towards this cost but it is your responsibility to claim this.  Failure to pay for your accommodation may result in you losing the temporary accommodation.  If the council has a full housing duty towards you this may end if you lose your temporary accommodation as a result of arrears.  This means that we will no longer have a duty find you permanent accommodation and you will need to find your own accommodation.  If you are at risk of not paying then you must contact us.
