Request a refund on your Council Tax account

If you have overpaid your council tax you may be entitled to a refund - you can request a refund using this form.

However, before any refund is processed a check will be made to identify any debts owed to the council which will be deducted from any amount refunded to you. This applies to any debt to the council regardless of age or type.

Also note that we will check any previous claims for council tax support to ensure the refund is correct.

Allow 14 days for the refund to be processed.
