See the Number 11 bus route as never before!
The West Midlands National Park Lab is rediscovering the vast, hidden landscape of the West Midlands that has been largely overlooked and undervalued for decades.
Birmingham’s iconic number 11 bus route, otherwise known as the "Outer Circle", is a 26-mile circular tour of the city’s landscape, communities and history.
The exhibition shows the bus route and selected bus stops with street portraits and archive material displayed alongside.
It seeks to reclaim and reposition the phrase ‘know your place’ as a catalyst for people to discover a sense of pride, belonging and curiosity in the everyday landscape of their city
Opening hours
- Monday to Tuesday: 11:00am to 7:00pm
- Wednesday to Saturday: 11:00am to 5:00pm
- Sunday: Closed
The exhibition is on the ground floor of the Library of Birmingham.
