Win a copy of the "Noughts and Crosses" series

To celebrate Black History Month, the Library of Birmingham is running a writing competition inspired by Malorie Blackman's "Noughts and Crosses". If you're aged 11-17, write a 500+word story set in Albion and send it to us by 28/11/20

Competiton rules:-

  • You need to be a member of the library. If you are not already a member you can join online
  • You must be aged 11 to 17 on 28 November 2020.
  • Your story must be set in Sephy and Callum's world.
  • Your story must be at least 500 words long.
  • Your entry must be in by 5pm on Saturday 28 November.

Entries can be

  • emailed to Childrens.library@birmingham.gov.uk - attach a copy of your story to an email with a copy of the completed entry form
  • handed in to a member of staff in the Children’s Library when it re-opens
