How to get there and parking

Entrances on Wills Street (two), Villa Street (two) and Brougham Street.

Bus routes 8A, 8C, 16 and 52 pass near the park.

No parking but spaces are available on surrounding side streets.

About the park

A vibrant community park which features a “Daily Mile” walking route, games areas and two activity zones for children. A diverse mix of people of all ages enjoy the attractions of the popular green space.

Facilities at the park
  • Separate play areas for toddlers and juniors with slides, climbing frames and a disabled-friendly roundabout
  • Two Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs) with a basketball court and football pitch
  • Skateboard park
  • Free Bikeability sessions for all abilities of cyclists organised by the Active Wellbeing Society on Sundays 10am to 12pm
Toilets
There are no toilets on site.
The nearest toilets are at The Lighthouse Young People's Centre, approx. one mile away.

  • Bandstand
  • The first of a series of 10 murals in a local arts trail is situated on the ramps at the skateboard park
  • Twelve new trees planted as part of a Birmingham City Council project

  • Health walks with trained walk leaders organised by Legacy West Midlands
  • Small wooded area on the edge of the park
  • The accessible Daily Mile walking route starts at the entrance and is marked on the ground to indicate a four-and-a-half lap circuit of the park
