Company and Director each pleaded guilty to five offences relating to conditions at Variety Bites, 542 Stratford Road, Birmingham. The chest freezer seals and wall surfaces in the rear kitchen were kept clean and maintained in good repair and condition. Articles and equipment which comes into contact with food were not effectively cleaned and disinfected as there was a build-up of dirt and mould on the chest freezers. They failed to provide accurate information with regards to the 14 prescribed ingredients for food produced and sold at the premises. They failed to make available information regarding relevant foods regarding the relevant ingredients or processing aids.
