More than anything, we are looking for people who have a genuine interest in supporting the education and ambitions of Deaf young people. The role is about achieving the very best for every learner at the school. - Day and times of most meetings

The Governing Board meets once every half term (6 meetings per year), on a Thursday at 5pm. Usually our meetings are held remotely so that governors do not have to travel long distances for meetings after a full day.
- The time commitment
-
Approximately 10 days per year spent attending meetings, visiting the school from time-to-time and undertaking relevant training.
- Why volunteer?
-
Volunteering as a School Governor is a great opportunity to gain school leadership experience at board level as well as transferable skills that enhance performance and employability. Most of all, you will have the satisfaction of making a real difference to children’s lives and helping them to realise their potential.
