Angela has been a GA at Penns for over 10 years and has built a great rapport with the children and school staff alike. She is a great support to her supervisor Sue Pidgeon and is willing and able to turn her hand to anything. During a recent period when the Catering Supervisor was absent, Angela came in early to take on the role of cooking and managed to do all the paperwork and orders, saving the contract extra cost for agency labour. Whilst the supervisor is off for a longer period, Angela has been working with Pertemps and is assisting her to ensure that there is a continuity of service for the client and the children. She does so with a smile on her face. She is a major contributor to the fact that the Head Teacher no longer mentions that they are looking elsewhere for their catering provision.

Angela has such a positive can do attitude and can be completely relied upon. She is very capable and extremely thorough in all she does. She will willingly step up to manage the kitchen at short notice, great peace of mind for myself as Head teacher to know the kitchen is in such safe hands. Angela leads by example, consistently giving 100%. She demonstrates real initiative, if a problem arises she will do all she can to seek a solution. She is very aware of the differing needs of our children and proactively looks at how the school meal provision can best meet the needs of children with special requirements or learning needs such as autism. Angela is very much appreciated by other colleagues within the school.
