Sally Mason: Another Wonderful Colleague Recognised!

In continuing to celebrate Cityserve’s wonderful team members, we’re delighted to congratulate Sally Mason – Catering Leader at Storywood School.
Geoff Wood, Sally’s line manager submitted the following nomination:
“The Business Manager from the school called me four weeks ago to advise that the kitchen roof needed to be removed and then replaced over a three week period.
I met with Sally to plan to ensure the meals service could continue and she arranged the service with military precision and efficiency!
- Sally arranged for all of the staff to transfer to New Oscott Nursery
- All meals for both sites were beautifully prepared and delivered from the alternative site
- Sally arranged for the meals to be transferred at no additional cost to the schools or Cityserve
- She tirelessly worked from 5.30am to ensure continuity of service
- At one point, there was a delayed a wholesale food delivery and Sally’s contingency planning and calm control led to collection from an alternative site to ensure that 156 Storywood students were seamlessly fed. “
What a great ambassador for CityServe – and a perfect example of how our teams go the extra-mile (with no additional charges) for our school clients.
Well done Sally – you’re an example to us all.
