Last nights awards ceremony took place in Oxford at the APSE Annual Seminar, for all local authorities and their public sector partners across the United Kingdom, Cityserve was announced as winner of ‘Best Catering Service’ in the UK.

These prestigious awards are designed to recognise excellence in local government frontline services across the UK, are open to all local authorities and their public sector partners. This year, the awards included 22 categories covering the vast majority of local services and the prestigious Overall Council of the Year in Service Delivery Award. In order to be shortlisted, finalists had to demonstrate that they are actively implementing innovative ideas, supporting continuous improvement, and developing new strategies to deliver local services.

APSE is the Association for Public Service Excellence and these awards are unique in that they are designed to recognise frontline services that are delivered to local communities, by local councils. This year’s awards spanned 21 categories, covering the vast majority of local government frontline service areas.

Cityserve was also ‘Finalist’ in the category ‘Best Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship Initiative’.
