The Birmingham taxi sector scheme is aimed at supporting Birmingham's hackney carriage and private hire drivers who have been significantly impacted throughout the government lockdown restrictions.

The scheme will offer a one-off grant of £1,000 and to be eligible you must be licensed with Birmingham City Council and live within the Birmingham area and this will be verified against the address given on your current driver licence record.
