Primary offer day webinar: Thursday 25th March 2pm-3pm

Primary schools are invited to a webinar hosted by Alan Michell, Head of School Admissions and Fair Access, to discuss the arrangements for the offer of places on offer day (Friday 16th April), in-year admission arrangements and use of the portal.

To book a place please use this Eventbrite link and a Teams link will be sent to you before the session.

Schools with nursery provision

Thank you to all who complete the Early Years survey each week.  The information you provide is crucial for our report to the DfE each week and in supporting our sufficiency assessments and support for settings.

With all children now back in school we have taken the opportunity to review and revamp the survey.  We have also split the survey, so that schools and PVIs have separate online forms to complete.  Both surveys now include a section on Out of School provision, as it is vital for us to understand the situation across the city in relation to wraparound care for school children and this was not captured in the previous survey.

A reminder that we request all schools with a nursery class to complete the form every week by Wednesday evening at 7pm. Once a school reports that the nursery provision is closed, they are not required to submit another return until they reopen. It only takes a few minutes to complete so we would encourage you to do so ASAP.

Where we do not receive a return we will follow-up with providers.

The survey can be accessed using this link Early Years Survey for Schools
